Ceramic Workshops and English Learning for Children, Youth, and Adults

The workshops take place in a private ceramic studio. Participants work individually and in small groups, with a maximum of six people. The classes cover the basics of working with clay – shaping, glazing, and firing. All materials and tools are provided on-site.
Classes for adults last 2 hours.
Classes for children from age 7 last 1.5 hours.
Specialized workshops focused on selected techniques and forms of ceramic work are organized every two weeks.
There is an option for individual sessions and learning on a potter's wheel.
I also offer individual English lessons.

WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN

Classes full of fun and free expression. Children learn to work with clay, develop creativity, and create their unique works. Classes enhance imagination, fine motor skills, and the joy of creation.

WEDNESDAY

WORKSHOPS FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS

Time: 17:30 – 19:30
Duration: 2 hours
Price: 75 PLN (plus firing: 10 PLN per 1 kg of clay)
Number of participants: 6
Classes for those who want to learn the basics of ceramics or develop their skills. Participants work independently, with the help of the instructor, at a calm pace. During the classes, one can create utilitarian objects or decorative works. Suitable for all experience levels.

THURSDAY

WORKSHOPS FOR ADULTS

Duration: 2 hours
Price: 75 PLN (plus firing: 10 PLN per 1 kg of clay)
Number of participants: 6
Classes take place in the morning and are designed for adults, including seniors, who want to work at a relaxed pace. The program includes shaping, glazing, and firing of works created in the studio. The pace of the classes is tailored to the participants, and all materials and tools are provided on-site.

SATURDAY

WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN AND PARENTS

Duration: 3 hours
Price: 95 PLN (plus firing: 10 PLN per 1 kg of clay)
Number of participants: 6
Classes last for 3 hours and take place on Saturdays. They are intended for parents and children who want to try working with clay together. During the workshops, the participants create simple utilitarian or decorative forms, learning the basics of molding and glazing.

CERAMIC WORKSHOPS FOR ADULTS

Coiling technique (cooling)
The coiling technique is one of the oldest and most intuitive methods of working with clay. It involves forming long, thin coils of clay, which are then stacked in layers—one on top of the other—to create the shape of a vessel or sculpture. Each layer can be gently pressed and smoothed to achieve various effects—from raw decorative lines to a completely smooth surface. This technique allows for the creation of simple bowls as well as more fanciful forms. It is excellent for both beginners and those who want to develop their manual skills.

English is my second natural language - lively, authentic, and used daily. During the lessons, I focus primarily on opening children up to the language, building confidence and ease in speaking and understanding. Each lesson is fully tailored to the sensitivity, needs, and competencies of the child. With experience in conducting artistic workshops, I can create a friendly, creative, and supportive atmosphere where children feel free and motivated. Despite lacking formal pedagogical education, my practice is based on attentive, empathetic approaches and individual relationships with students. I also support my work with the standards of Cambridge English, which allows for the verification of the child's level or progress through Cambridge English Test exams - an international reference point that provides the opportunity to confirm acquired skills. There is an option to combine language learning with a ceramic workshop (for children 7+).
